Youīve just liberated the peaceful town of Skara Brae fom Mangar and now,
a new threat looms. The evil archmage Lagoth Zanta seized Destiny Wand and
broke it into 7 pieces. Thus, the destiny of a whole realm is at stake.
The heroes from Tales of the Unknown are called for help to join Destiny
Wand again and to put an end to Lagoth Zanta. The Destiny Knight is far more complex than its predecessor. Not only, with the archmage, was a new mage class introduced. The game surface, too, is much bigger. Tales of the Unknown was set in and under a town, whereas The Destiny Knight is located in a whole realm with several towns that are spread throughout the wilderness. And there are locations in this wilderness, too, and they all have to be visited... beside the compulsory dungeons in the towns themselves. You can either start with a new party or import the one you had in Tales of the Unknown. All in all, The Destiny Knight is a good sequel to the first part. |
